Our Products
The contents of our product packages are described on our website. Our health examinations are structured as basic packages, with optional add-on modules. Under “Included Biomarkers” you can see what is included and what can be chosen as an addition. We invoice for extra consultation time used beyond what is included, as well as services that are part of our treatment of you, as needed.
Prices and payment
- Our prices are listed on our website and in our correspondence with you. We invoice you for the services in advance of your consultation. Certain services such as extra consultation time and additional tests will be invoiced afterward.
- All orders must be paid for at the time of ordering either in advance or on-site in the clinic. By paying for the order, you accept our prices, sales conditions, and privacy policy. All prices are in DKK and health services performed in connection with diagnosis, treatment, preventive treatment, or maintenance of a health condition are exempt from VAT. Otherwise, VAT is applied. We reserve the right to change our prices.
- Medical consultations and consultations related to hormone therapy must be paid at least 1 week before the booked time. In case of non-payment, the appointment will be canceled.
- You can pay with VISA-Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, and Mastercard as well as gift cards. When booking an appointment via our website, payment is made immediately, with the exception of certain services.
- All product prices are exclusive of all shipping and handling costs and any sales, value-added, or other taxes and duties imposed in respect of the sale, delivery, or use of the products, and such items, if applicable, will be added to the invoice.
Prescriptions
Issuance of Prescriptions
To obtain a prescription, there must be a medical indication, which is assessed individually by the responsible physician. The fee for issuing the first prescription is 1,450 DKK. This amount is payable regardless of whether the prescription is part of a consultation, a treatment course, or another package. This does not apply for hormone therapy. Secondary prescriptions cost 450 DKK per prescription.
Renewal of Prescriptions
In most cases, renewing a prescription requires a separate consultation, which must be paid for separately. The fee for renewing a prescription is 650 DKK per prescription.
Payment Terms
- For business customers: Payment is due net cash upon invoicing, and all services are subject to VAT.
- For private customers: Purchase of services and products can be made on our website. Payment via the website is primarily made by credit card.
Cancellation of consultations and refunds
- Cancellations of appointments for sampling and consultations must be made at least 96 hours prior to the scheduled time in order to qualify for a refund. The calculation of this period begins from the moment we receive your written cancellation via email, during our business hours. Cancellations made less than 96 hours before the appointment will not be eligible for a refund; however, a voucher may be issued if we receive the cancellation at least 24 hours before the appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will neither be refunded nor will a voucher be issued
- A fee of 1,000 DKK will be charged if you do not show up for the scheduled examination.
- For medical consultations, we charge the full amount for no-shows or cancellations less than 72 hours before your appointment.
- Refunds are processed twice a month—every 14 days. For approved refunds, the amount will be returned according to this schedule. This applies to all products and services covered by our sales and terms conditions.
Rescheduling your consultation time
You can reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before your appointment. This does NOT apply to medical consultations and consultations related to hormone therapy. Changes in these cases must be made at least 96 hours before the booked time. In some cases, a fee may be charged for changes. The time is calculated from the moment we receive a message from you in writing via our email within our opening hours.
Invoicing
- Aetas Diagnostics sends an invoice after the purchase of an examination or consultation. The invoice will contain a brief description of the products, quantity, any additional costs, and the total price.
- Any amount not paid on time will incur interest at 1.5% per month until full payment is received. The buyer is responsible for reasonable collection costs that the seller may incur.
Reservations
We can only sell an item as long as it is in stock, therefore we reserve the right to sold-out items. Unclear results may occur in rare cases and are considered a delivered result. We reserve the right to delays in response times due to unforeseen events. In some cases, errors may occur, which may mean that you need to take your test again.
Delays
We reserve the right to delays in response times due to unforeseen events. In certain cases, errors may occur, which may require you to be called in for another examination. Advisory Services for External Treatments and Medical Products
Aetas offers guidance and support in relation to both treatments at external clinics and the purchase of medical products. We emphasize that our role is advisory and that we are not a party to the agreements between you as a client and the external clinic or supplier.
Advisory Services for Treatments
Aetas acts as a medical advisor, providing support in selecting treatments and clinics. However, we emphasize that all decisions and matters related to the treatment itself—including the choice of treatment method, outcomes, and potential complications—are a direct agreement between you and the external clinic. Aetas assumes no responsibility for the treatment process, including medical results or side effects.
When we provide guidance, we will always refer to the applicable terms and conditions of the clinic in question. The treatment relationship is solely between you and the external clinic.
Advisory Services for Medical Products
For the purchase of medical products, such as medications, the order is placed with the relevant external supplier on your behalf. Aetas solely acts as a facilitator and advisor and assumes no responsibility for practical or legal matters related to the order.
This means that the responsibility for payment, shipping, delivery, insurance of the package, and any complaints lies with you as the client and the supplier of the product. We recommend that you ensure all practical matters are clarified with the supplier and that you have read and understood their terms and conditions.
Disclaimer
Aetas acts solely as an advisor and facilitator and cannot be held responsible for:
- Loss, damage, or delays related to the shipping and delivery of medical products.
- Medical outcomes or complications from treatments at external clinics.
- Complaints or disputes between you and the clinic or supplier.
All matters related to treatments and the purchase of medical products are between you and the external clinic or supplier. Aetas does not establish a patient-doctor relationship or a legal contractual relationship in these situations.
For further details, we refer to our informed consent form, which ensures you are fully informed about the risks and terms associated with treatments and the purchase of medical products.
Force Majeure
Neither party can be held liable to the other party for non-fulfillment of their obligations under this agreement if it is due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control. These circumstances may include, but are not limited to, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, strikes or other labor disputes, natural disasters, fires, floods, explosions, accidents, international conflicts, political events, shortages of raw materials, and transport accidents.
If a force majeure situation lasts for more than 30 days, the non-delayed party has the right to terminate the agreement by giving written notice to the other party.
