At Aetas, we help women restore healthy hormone levels safely and effectively through medically supervised HRT.
As women approach menopause, hormonal changes can affect energy, mood, sleep, and overall health. At Aetas, we use bioidentical hormone therapy to safely and precisely address hormone dysregulation and estrogen deficiency - helping you feel strong, focused, and vibrant again.
Why your hormones matter
Hormones control more than symptoms
Estrogen and progesterone influence energy, metabolism, bone health, mood, and cognitive function.
Levels naturally decline with age
This can lead to both short-term symptoms and long-term health risks like osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease.
Menopause affects every woman differently
Some experience mild changes, while others struggle with intense fatigue, sleep issues, or mood swings.
Properly guided therapy can help
Under medical supervision, hormone therapy can reduce symptoms, improve quality of life, and support long-term well-being.
Individualisation is key
Every treatment is tailored to your unique hormonal profile, ensuring safety, precision, and effectiveness.
Signs of hormone changes
Hot flashes and night sweats - Sudden temperature shifts or sweating episodes.
Sleep disturbances - Difficulty falling or staying asleep.
Mood swings or low motivation - Irritability, anxiety, or mild depression.
Brain fog or memory issues - Reduced focus or mental sharpness.
Vaginal dryness or discomfort - Changes affecting comfort or intimacy.
Joint and muscle pain - General stiffness or soreness.
Weight changes and fatigue - Slower metabolism and lower energy.
Hair and skin changes - Thinning hair, dryness, or loss of elasticity.
Treatment Process
At Aetas, your HRT journey is structured in three phases, ensuring precision, medical safety, and optimal effect.
Phase 1
DKK 5.400,-
The goal of Phase 1 is to understand your unique hormonal profile and determine whether you are a candidate for hormone therapy.
What's included in Phase 1:
Important information:
As soon as you have booked, you will receive a questionnaire by email, which you are kindly requested to answer.
Upon arrival at the clinic, your height, weight, ECG, and blood pressure will be measured.
45 minutes
After your vitals are measured, the doctor will meet with you to review your symptoms and health history. If HRT is the right fit for you, a prescription will be issued.
Phase 2
DKK 2.900,-
After being in treatment for 2-3 months, you will be scheduled for a follow-up consultation. Before the consultation, you can consider whether the treatment has relieved any symptoms, if it has brought about a positive change in your quality of life, and if you have experienced any side effects.
What's included in Phase 2:
You will receive a questionnaire prior to your follow up consultation to provide information about your status and any change in symptoms you may have experienced.
You will have follow-up consultation with the doctor to review the first 2-3 months of treatment.
Phase 3
DKK 4.600,-
Once you have started treatment successfully, you will be scheduled for an annual consultation with the doctor. An annual consultation is a requirement to continue treatment at Aetas.
What's included in Phase 3:
Upon arrival, your vitals will be measured. Afterwards, the doctor will meet with you to discuss your current wellbeing and review your treatment to determine whether any dosage adjustments are required.
During the treatment, multiple follow-up consultations or blood tests may be necessary to monitor your dosage and the effectiveness of the treatment, ensuring that you receive the optimal dosage. These are extraordinary costs.

HRT, like any medication, carries some risks and is not recommended for women with a history of blood clots or those undergoing treatment for breast cancer. In women with previous breast cancer, certain types of systemic HRT may increase the risk of recurrence.
Risks vary depending on hormone type, dosage, duration, administration method, timing, and whether progestogen is needed. For most women under 60 without contraindications, the benefits generally outweigh the risks - especially for bothersome hot flashes or increased risk of bone loss.
Individual situations differ, so HRT decisions should always be made with a specialist who can assess your medical history and needs.
Side effects of HRT vary between individuals and depend on hormone type, dosage, duration, and administration. Many side effects improve within a few weeks, but some may persist and can be managed.
Possible estrogen side effects include headache, breast tenderness, unexpected bleeding or spotting, nausea, mood changes, leg cramps, mild rash or itching, diarrhea, and hair loss.
HRT does not always result in weight loss, and we do not prescribe it based on that indication.
The dosage depends on individual factors, including whether your symptoms are relieved. With a follow-up consultation, the doctor can assess the effectiveness of the treatment and whether you are receiving the optimal dosage or if adjustments need to be made along the way.
You can collect your prescription medication from your nearest pharmacy. The medication must be paid for upon pickup.
No, but in some cases blood tests may be relevant to rule out other conditions that can cause similar symptoms. Blood tests can also be useful for monitoring treatment and dosage.
